I took this shot at the back of the Temple of Venus.
A girl sat on the stairway in frount of the door while our professors were introducing the building for us.
The girl, tree’s and our shadows formed an interesting composition, I think.
The other photo was taken in the colonnade of the Temple of Concord and Victory.

My cat Fu-Tien has one eye because he was infected by bacteria which caused pus formed inside his head and pushed one of his eyes out. When he was found in street, half of the eye had been pushed out his head, so the one who found him took him to see a vet. One volunteer took care of him and tried to find someon to adopt him. I saw his photo on the Internet and adopted him from the volunteer. I always think I’m really lucky to have him because he is such a cute cat!!

He is very cute. What does Fu-Tien mean? Did you get to name him? Not Popo2?
I can’t see your posted photo here. Are you having trouble uploading them?

In Chinese, Fu=福=good fortune, Tien=田=farmland. (Sorry, I’m not sure whether you can see the Chinese characters.) This name was given by the first person who found him. My family members and I thought this name was nice, so we didn’t give him a new name. Actually, it is a masculine name, and only people who are my father or my grandfather’s age have this kind name, which is very very old fashion. In Taiwan, people usually give their pet a cute name, such as Popo or Bobo. So, every Taiwanese people laugh at the name when the first time they hear it. If they do not laugh, they just try not to laugh, and then laugh after I walk away, and they usually ask me why I gave my cat this name at the next time we meet.
I reedited the post, I think you may can see it now. If not, please tell me. I’ll try to reedit it again.
BTW, thank you for the delicious foods. What’s the chicken dish’s name? Do you think that I could find the recipe on the Internet? I really want to try to cook it!

I’ll try and tell you the recipe but I don’t use one…so it comes out different every time I make it. It was supposed to be “Lemmon Chicken” but I suppose it was more like Sweet and Sour Lemmon Chicken, well, mostly sour due to the 4 lemmons. I kept increasing the ingredients because of the additional people and somethings just didn’t add correctly.
The pictures are incredible. Maybe I should try and take some photos with people…I always avoid them but these are really dramatic.
The Temple of Venus shot is almost surreal.

Although I tend to avoid to take some photos with people, I think sometimes people make photos “alive”. From the people in the photos, I can image the activities that were doing when photographors took the shots.

[...] Click here to see a more interesting photo of the same subject taken by Hsueh-Ping (it’s the second photo down). I’m off to Stonehenge today. There, there is a proposal in the works to sink the nearby motorway into a tunnel so it doesn’t disturb the sights or sounds of the very important ancient monument. The downside is that it costs too much. What do you think? I have to do a report on it eventually, so please be generous with your comments. (I’ll post the pictures when I get back, so you’ll have another chance.) [...]
